| jun 27 2006 | | Big business kills. | Hands up if you support the war? Some people have been fooled by the media into believing that the war is all about bringing freedom to the Middle East. Other lies being promulgated are that the people would be better off living in democracies like we do. Still another fear the media exploits is the lie that by fighting over there we are saved from fighting over here.
In a world where lies are truth, murder is collateral damage, flying people to other countries to be tortured is rendition, understanding what you are voting for is not easy. However, if you support the occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq and looking forward to bombing the hell out of those bolshy Iranians, destroy the infrastructure, murdering women and children, and looting the countries resources, then you may not have blood on your hands because this world is full of armchair warriors but you certainly have blood on your consciences.
So why is all this happening? Why is the world being made into a more dangerous place? Why is the West creating and fostering a terrorist uprising? Why are so many innocents dying?
