What should investors take from this? Buy uranium. The product itself has been rising for some time now, along with the producers and explorers. But the game is just getting into the second half and there is money to be made. The announcement from Cameco concerning the flooding in the Cigar Lake mine caused a spike in the market. That is a huge supply taken off the market. They are estimating that will take at least year to fix and other experts say may not be able to re-open at all.
